With nearly a decade of experience across the public and private sectors, Robyn’s background places her expertise at the intersection of policy, business, and political engagement. Her professional Kaupapa is solving complex problems that have impact by strengthening connections - between government and private sectors, and between different disciplines. Her focus is on supporting the translation of high level policy objectives through to outcomes and she has experience co-developing policy and regulatory solutions with diverse stakeholders.

With five years of experience in the energy sector, leading the public policy engagement of New Zealand’s largest electricity network business, Robyn has a deep understanding of challenges and opportunities surrounding an energy transition that is designed for consumers. Her experience includes a focus on energy, innovation and climate policy, and on our resource management and planning system.

Having worked as a policy consultant for both government and non-government clients Robyn has experience working across the policy cycle and navigating public and private sector decision making processes.

Robyn graduated with Hons (1st) in International Relations with a focus on strategic studies from Victoria University of Wellington. Her undergraduate degree had majors in International Relations, Political Science, and Philosophy.
