Erika is the Acting General Counsel at the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society, and has over 15 years’ experience in resource management law. She has been part of the Forest and Bird legal team for most of that time, and prior to that was at a large law firm.
Aside from representing Forest and Bird in a variety of resource management proceedings, Erika has also worked extensively on law reform, advising the Society on policy and legislative changes. She has appeared at Select Committee to present on behalf of the Society. Erika’s previous work also involved Treaty of Waitangi negotiations.
Erika lives in Otaki, on the Kapiti Coast, with her partner and two children.
